Pulling wisdom teeth

Wisdom teeth, also known as third molars, are located farthest back. If you don’t have enough space, they might not ever emerge. Since most people have a jaw that is too narrow to allow their complete eruption, most people have wisdom teeth embedded in their gums. When the teeth take too long to emerge, they might even be interrupted (semi-embedded wisdom teeth).

To avoid possible complications, such as pain, infections or crowding out neighboring teeth, the Alain Cyr Clinic opts for the systematic removal of wisdom teeth to avoid any problems.

This minor surgery is therefore a preventive action.
